Portland, Maine alternative/post-hardcore band The Restless Atlantic will head out on an East Coast tour this October. Having been locked up in the studio much of the year, the band are excited to get back on the road in support of the newly released EP, Afterglow. The sophomore release from TRA features 6 songs mixing dynamic guitars and ear-catching lyrics perfect for fans of bands like RX Bandits and I The Mighty.

Hailing from Portland, ME, The Restless Atlantic are a four-piece post-hardcore band who aren't afraid to take a chance. Formed in 2014, the band released their heartfelt debut album 'Chasm' featuring 9 songs loaded with prominent guitars and powerful vocals. This release gave TRA the chance to tour the Northeast and open for bands such as Memphis May Fire, The Ongoing Concept and Wind In Sails. 2016 has allowed The Restless Atlantic to hone in on their sound, spending much of their time writing or in the studio. The result is the band's sophomore release 'Afterglow', released on September 16th. 'Afterglow' sees the band taking a more unique approach, combining post-hardcore with progressive tones and pop melodies. Single "Hyperventilate" perfectly displays what The Restless Atlantic are capable of and the band are looking forward to where the rest of the year leads them.
