Down and Outlaws
Above Snakes
Available July 8
Breaking from our norm of punk and pop-punk, we just had to sit down and listen to Above Snakes, the latest album to come from hard blues rockers Down and Outlaws.
In "I Don't Care," Peter Danzig sings, "I'm a sickness, I'm a cheat, I don't care if I feel a thing," to which the whole band responds, "I don't care," hence the title of the song.
With a tough, raspy sound that reminded us of Queens of the Stone Age, Alice In Chain, and Black Keys this four-piece band is on track to break through in a market that doesn't get the attention it deserves.
