Modern Baseball
Holy Ghost

It’s been almost a month since the new Modern Baseball album, Holy Ghost, has come out. I’ve been listening to it over and over and I’ve been trying to figure out just how much I like it: I’ve determined I do like it, because there is just something that makes it really enjoyable.
Modern Baseball has always been an interesting band, not really following any set trend (even if a lot of their songs are about girls), making their own sound and forging their own path. Holy Ghost is an album that is easy to listen to, perfect for a long drive late at night, or during a cloudy day.
I do like the album, however, I think that it lacks something. I was looking for another song like “Tears Over Beers” or “Your Graduation” which really just resonates and always seems to hit home. This album lacks that, but it’s still a good album.
