Victory Records’ easycore group, Abandoned By Bears from Malmö, Sweden give us a masterpiece with their latest album The Years Ahead. With a sound similar to A Day To Remember and Four Year Strong, this album is perfect for a variety of fans; from pop-punk to post-hardcore, you’re covered. Lyrically, the track “Good Terms” is one of the best on the album. The band sings “Maybe I’ll regret it forever; maybe I’ll regret it for the rest of my life. Well I guess I took it all for granted, I believe too much in everything.” Other favorites include “Bad Luck” and “Good Luck Next Year.” Having never listened to this group before receiving this album, I’ve now marked on my calendar when they will be in my area, and looking at their schedule, am happy to see that they will be in the US until at least mid-June. If you have the chance, definitely go and check these guys out.
