WHILE SHE SLEEPS’ NEW ALBUM, ‘YOU ARE WE,’ IS OUT TODAY VIA SHARPTONE RECORDS

“shows every other band out there what’s possible with the right attitude and spirit of independence.”
– Kerrang! (KKKK)

“Simply colossal” – NME (4* - Album of The Week)

"It looks like this scene might finally have a band to believe in." – Metal Hammer (8/10)

“massive, slamming riffs lurking around every corner.” – Rock Sound (8/10)

While She Sleeps’ third album You Are We has been released direct from the band to their fans today as they kick off an extensive tour of the UK – many of the shows are already sold out.

With the help of their loyal fanbase, the band have funded the album project through Pledge Music and achieved well over 200% of their initial goal.

Latest single ‘Silence Speaks’ (feat Oli Sykes) has received big support at BBC Radio 1 and is still climbing high in the Kerrang! Rock Chart.

Made with Carl Bown, who also produced Brainwashed, the songs that comprise You Are We are full of as much force, focus and determination as ever. This new and vital body of work will continue the band’s trajectory as one of the most inspiring, riotous and important voices in British music today, demonstrating both their continued musical evolution and their incisive social conscience. Yet while these are brutal anthems that paint a vivid picture of a post-Brexit Britain, they stand as both the most universal and most personal songs of the band’s career.

Everyday Sidekicks Unveil ‘Bury Your Friends’

Bristolian Post-Hardcore Crew Release New Video Single From Recent EP

Post-hardcore quartet Everyday Sidekicks have released their latest single – Bury Your Friends – with an accompanying music video which can be viewed below.

Vocalist Archie Hatfield reveals the powerful message behind the track: “This song goes out to anyone who is struggling with a mental illness like depression. You're not alone, talk to someone. It is a song about one of my closet friends who recently lost his battle with depression and took his own life. It’s about the pressure of growing up and how it can affect your mental state and how we are repeatedly forced to decide where we want to be in life when realistically we don't have to.” Bury Your Friends features on the band’s recently released sophomore ‘Hope’. Hatfield comments on the title and overarching theme of the record: “Hope to us is a hugely important factor in life. You constantly have obstacles thrown at you that you need to overcome, times change and sometimes it's not always good things that come your way. Without Hope for things to get better, life can get on top of you.”

Completed by Guitarist Tim Brown, Bassist Sam Hughes and Drummer Josh Armitage, the post-hardcore crew are aware that their name may be puzzling: “Everyday Sidekicks has always been a strange name to people, but to us it’s just a representation of the little guy. We wanted our music to relate to everyone in some way and we feel everyone can relate to the Sidekick in a comic book: never quite being the hero but you’re always there when you are needed, standing by through thick and thin, no matter how tough the road ahead can get.” Forming from a shared bond of wanting to make music since childhood, the release of debut EP ‘The Things I’ve Seen’, led to slots supporting the likes of Marmozets, Slaves (UK) and Coldrain.

Recording the newly released sophomore at Monnow Valley Studios with Tom Manning, has seen the band make a huge jump. Themeatically the band are attempting to avoid becoming ‘a one trick pony’ and so keep things diverse, with Hope spanning topics from heartbreak to the state of the world. Suppleness doesn’t end at the lyrics either – although they can be currently best typified as post-hardcore – the band reveal “our sound is a lot more flexible than most artists in our local scene and for our future releases, as we combine several different styles of music. We aim to create our own sound as much as possible, but you can always tell hints of our influences in our music, such as A Day To Remember and Beartooth. We like to think of ourselves as a blend of teeth gritting hardcore mixed with the pop punk roots that we all come from.” Whilst the pop punk influence may be subtle, at least at this stage, there is no denying the aggression and venom, despite the hopeful outlook.

About The Flatliners:

The Flatliners’ career is a testament to perseverance and dedication. With a lineup that has never strayed from the original members who met as teenagers, the band has since logged countless miles on the road and amassed a dedicated legion of fans along the way.

Now approaching 15 years of hammering out bombastic tunes everywhere from dive bars to festival stages to European concert halls, The Flatliners hold fast to the DIY punk-rock ethos that has been at the group’s core since the beginning. The band came out swinging with youthful exuberance on their debut record, Destroy To Create, in 2005, and they’ve honed their anthemic style with each subsequent release: The Great Awake in 2007, Cavalcade in 2010, Dead Language in 2013 and Division of Spoils in 2015.

But frenetic touring schedules and prolific recording output takes its toll, and The Flatliners decided to spend the majority of 2015 off the road to recharge and reconnect with friends and family. Striking a balance between home and road life is a difficult task, but frontman and guitarist Chris Cresswell concedes that it’s necessary.

“That’s what we’ve been in search of for probably the last seven years. We noticed it in ourselves, and that’s what we’re really striving for now,” he says. “We have a lot of people in our lives that are super supportive of what we do, and we’re supportive of each other.”

The band may have opted for more downtime, but there was still plenty going on behind the scenes. Early in 2015, the guys found themselves without the familiarity of the jam space they had inhabited for nearly a decade—four walls that had been the incubator for hundreds of songs and uninhibited creativity. Several months were spent renting rooms wherever they were available before the band was able to settle into a new space, but the group did their best not to let the upheaval hinder their burgeoning roster of new material. Borne out of that chaos was Nerves, a two-song EP released in October 2016 that also marked the band’s first recording on Dine Alone Records.

The recording serves as a taste of what eager fans can expect to hear on The Flatliners’ new album, Inviting Light, set to be released on April 7, 2017. The band has been working hard to refine its unmistakable style, ensuring they don’t lose sight of their roots while continuing to move forward.

“Inviting Light is about trying to keep up with life around you but also wading through the potential bullshit of people thinking that a digital landscape is more important than their friends,” Cresswell explains. “It’s inevitable that you’re fighting for people’s attention now, whether you’re a band or an individual, and there’s not as much value placed on face-to-face human interaction as there is in elevating the profile.”

Meaningful interaction may be more difficult to achieve these days, but the group’s steadfast members continue to build on the enduring connection that brought them together all those years ago, celebrating one another’s personal milestones and weathering each new experience as a unit.

“It feels like we’re onto something,” Cresswell adds. “It’s exciting for a band to be 15 years into their existence and have this. It’s a refreshing thing.”

FALLING IN REVERSE DROP VIDEO FOR TITLE TRACK FROM COMING HOME

NEW ALBUM OUT APRIL 7 ON EPITAPH RECORDS

Falling in Reverse have dropped the celestial video for "Coming Home," the title track from their upcoming fourth album, due out April 7, 2017 on Epitaph Records. Watch the video for "Coming Home" below:

"This video is an analogy of the dichotomies between my personal life and my public life — a lonely traveler content on fulfilling the dreams he set out on, but missing out on everything he has at home. A bittersweet duality," -Ronnie Radke

The band also released the tracks "Loser" and "Broken" ahead of the album's release.

Coming Home is the follow up to 2015's Just Like You and the album finds the band exploring its sound, all the while retaining the signature ethos and aesthetic that has won the love and loyalty of its incredibly invested fans and followers.

Outburn described Coming Home as "sonically gripping from start to finish and impressive every step of the way, with neither Radke nor the band losing their edge" in its 10 out of 10 review. It's the most real, honest, and self-aware record FIR have released to date."

Philly punks Tardigrade release new song

Via Darth Fader Records

Philly punks Tardigrade have released their new song, "Solitary." Providing a a politically charged, angry and driving raw punk sound from days gone by, this song fits would fit on a playlist with artists like The Menzingers, Spraynard, and Rozwell Kid. But, if it were thrown onto a playlist with older punk acts like The Clash, or The Ramones, it would have no problem fitting in.

Tardigrade is currently working on demos for even more new material which they plan to release in a larger body of work in the coming months. We're looking forward to hearing more from this group.

Philly punks Tardigrade to debut new song

Via Darth Fader Records

Tardigrade is a young band based out of Philadelphia, PA. Their debut single, “Hypnopaedia,”  was released digitally on all major platforms on February 10th and they are following that release up with a second single entitled “Solitary” on March 31st. Hypnopaedia garnered quite an impressive response for a debut track from a brand new band. In just over a month, the song has received well over 1,500 plays across all platforms with the YouTube video approaching the 1,000 view mark itself. On top of that, the song has received airplay on college radio stations internationally, placement on several spotify playlists curated by music blogs and positive reviews from music critics within the DIY Punk scene. Solitary is expected to receive an even greater response as the band has begun to make a name for themselves.

Listen to "Hypnopaedia" below:

The new song will be live on all major music platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Bandcamp and Amazon Music as well as through the Darth Fader Records YouTube channel.

Tardigrade is a project started by Luke Mills with the production and recording help of his brother, Craig Mills. Together, they wrote, recorded, mixed and mastered both these songs on their own and with help from their friends. They took influence from bands within the modern melodic punk scene such as Title Fight and Touché Amoré to create a politically charged, angry and driving punk sound. With the apparent success of the first song and the expected even larger reach of the second, Luke has assembled a group of musicians to fill out the backing band so that Tardigrade can begin booking shows and even a short tour in the coming months. Tardigrade is currently working on demos for even more new material which they plan to release in a larger body of work in the coming months.

JOHN FRUM PREMIERES VIDEO FOR NEW SONG, “MEMORY PALACE”; DEBUT ALBUM OUT MAY 12TH ON RELAPSE RECORDS

Enigmatic, cult metal collective, JOHN FRUM, was unveiled a video for their new song “Memory Palace.” The song is found on the band’s upcoming, debut album, A Stirring In The Noos, which is set for release from Relapse Records on May 12th.

The collective’s first album, A Stirring In The Noos, will be available on CD/LP/Digital and is scheduled for release on May 12th via Relapse Records. Pre-order the record now at (physical - http://bit.ly/JohnFrumNoos) (Digital - www.johnfrumband.bandcamp.com).

"Memory Palace is a journey into the ever changing and expanding void we find ourselves hurtling through, and a reflection on the fleeting knowledge one stands to gain within.  It also speaks to the pitfalls of our god complex and the futility of enlightenment on any scale." - JOHN FRUM

The mysterious JOHN FRUM is the manifestation of four musical minds coalescing in a collective consciousness developed from time spent playing with The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Faceless, John Zorn, Cleric and many more elite projects. JOHN FRUM’s unorthodox debut maneuvers through 40 minutes of darkly psychedelic and meticulously crafted death metal, the backdrop of a bad trip. A Stirring in the Noos is a dismal distillation of oneiric transmissions, an aural reliquary of mis-shapen manifestations, and a totem to modern primitivism in heavy music. A Stirring in the Noos will see its release this May via Relapse Records.

Watch JOHN  FRUM’s recently premiered video for their first released song “Presage of Emptiness”:

JOHN FRUM will perform a handful of intimate shows in celebration of the new record. Dates are listed below.
