Rayner is a 5-piece rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Formed in 2014, the band quickly got to work writing songs with lyrics influenced by the tragedies of the world around them, life’s defeats, and celebrating their failures, all while juxtaposed with a pop-punk musical backing. In January 2016, the band self-released their debut album "In Circles" and began touring in support of it across the southwest. Their unique sound and work-ethic earned Rayner a spot on the main stage of 2016's Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival. They've also had the opportunity to play with an eclectic mix of national acts including: Unwritten Law, PEARS, Buck-O-Nine, Direct Hit!, Authority Zero, Jeff Rosenstock, and Fenix TX. Riding their momentum and refusing to sit still for very long, the band immediately began working on new material. What came from those sessions were 5 songs for an EP titled "Disasters." Further defining their pop-punk sound, the band works with the genre while bringing in new influences. Rayner is also not holding back lyrically as they focus this time on subjects including: sexual constructs, the loss of a friend, the nature of beliefs, and the occasional drunk epiphany. If it all sounds a bit too complicated, don't worry; the band prides itself on having as much fun as possible and treating every show like it's a party among friends. So grab a beer and come embrace the inevitable darkness that will eventually consume us all
