"Around the time we were writing this album I got a phone call from a guy I was friends with in school, one day when we were about 13 he just didn't show up to school, we got told he'd been taken into care and I never heard from him again until he called. He somehow got my parents phone number and rang me one day to tell me about the last ten years of his life, how people he'd loved had died, how he'd just got out of prison and struggled with addiction, lots of really troubling turbulent stuff. “Lead Feet” is about how two people’s lives can begin so similarly but the choices they make can take them in totally opposite directions." - Henry Cox

Boston Manor will make their way to the U.S. this fall for a tour with labelmates Like Pacific, along with Broadside and Rarity. Watch the band’s recently released video for their song “Laika:”

"'Stuck In Your Head' is a final send off to a bad relationship. I had reached my breaking point and the similarity of a worn and damaged record was all I could compare this relationship too.  I had to write about it but It couldn't be an emotional break up song. It had to be straightforward, aggressive and in your face.  That's exactly how I felt at the time. You lost me, and you'll regret it." - Brian Burkheiser

I Prevail Premiere Video For New Song "Scars"

Anticipation continues to build as Detroit’s rising rock band I Prevail reveal more information about their debut, full-length record, Lifelines, which is due out later this year. Today, the band has premiered a video for the record’s first new song called “Scars.” Additional details about the album will be unveiled in the coming month.

"Scars was the first song we wrote that really took things to another level.  It instantly set the tone for the rest of the album.  I think it perfectly showcases our sound in terms of the riffs, electronics and big chorus, while still keeping the heaviness.  We knew right away it was the song we wanted to lead with. As for the message, we were seeing so many people being either scared or bullied into a certain lifestyle by different aspects of society.  We still feel those pressures ourselves.  This song is a message telling people to follow your dreams and be proud of who you are, regardless of what's going on around you." – Brian Burkheiser (Vocals)

I Prevail’s forthcoming record was recorded at Wall of Sound Studios in Riley, MI with producers B.J. Perry and John Pregler. It follows the band’s immensely popular, breakout EP, Heart vs. Mind, which featured their massively successful cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.”

The new video for “Scars” comes just ahead of I Prevail’s headlining North American tour, that will kick off later this month in Grand Rapids, MI and will feature support from The White Noise, My Enemies & I and Bad Seed Rising. Sum 41 have just released "Fake My Own Death," the lead single from their comback album.

The track comes from their first album in five years, titled 13 Voices, which is due out Oct. 7 via Hopeless Records. It will serve as the follow-up to 2011's Screaming Bloody Murder.

The video for "Fake My Own Death" was directed by Marc Klasfeld, who previously worked with SUM 41 on their videos for “Fat Lip”, “In Too Deep” and “The Hell Song.” The video shows the band performing on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles, where all their worst nightmares—including Kim Kardashian, Michael Jordan and Donald Trump—come to attack them.
